This was so much more than a food tour! Our guide, Palo, gave us all the insider information on Slovakia before and after 1993, under communism and after the revolution. We also got to learn about some quirky Slovak traditions and by the end of the tour it felt like we had a new friend in Palo. All while sipping delicious local wines, beers, and munching on perogis!

This food tour was a great find. There is no way to leave hungry from it. It was wonderful to try all different types of food from Slovakia from appetizers to main meals to desserts. We were also able to try local beer, kofola and liquors. I highly recommend this tour as it was a perfect way to get a feel for the local food and drink and at many places that only locals know about.
